Below are some tips so you can make the most of your Moms and Munchkins shopping experience.

There are two main pieces of advice we can give to our shoppers having been shoppers at consignment sales ourselves...

• Bring a laundry basket or a large shopping bag (we will provide bags as well) to place your bargains in while you shop. Tie a belt to the basket and pull it behind you. It is so much easier to look through the tables and racks when you are not holding an armful of treasures.
• Get to the sale about an hour before opening time!! We came to a sale once a half hour before thinking we'd be some of the first there to find out there were already almost 100 people ahead of us! GET THERE EARLY!

Here are some other helpful hints...

• The first 200 shoppers will receive a goody bag!
• Admission is $2 per adult and is good for the entire sale. So you can come back a different day if you want! Especially for the Final 50% off day!
• We as moms understand that it is not always possible to leave the children at home, they are welcome at the sale but we suggest you bring a baby carrier and/or stroller as it can get quite crowded at the sale.
• If purchasing a large item please see a Moms and Munchkins Volunteer (wearing a tan apron) and they will be happy to place your name on the item. (Please make sure you wish to purchase the item before the tag is pulled) This keeps things fair to others who might be interested in purchasing the item. Also bring help if you have plans to purchase a larger item.
• Check racks with clothing that is a size smaller as well as larger than your child's normal size. You might find a treasure that fits in these other sizes.
• To get the best fit on shoes, draw your child's footprint on a piece of poster board and cut it out. You will then be able to see if the fit is right while looking at shoes.
• We accept cash, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard ). We do charge sales tax. NO CHECKS.

Please make note that.. All Sales are final. We will do everything we can to make certain that the items that you are purchasing are of the highest quality and safety but we cannot guarantee any items. This includes any video games, movies, etc, we cannot evaluate these items before the sale. There are no returns... items are as is.
